| DEKALB COUNTY WATER AND SEWER RATES APPROVED TO ROLL FORWARD, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2008 |

DECATUR – Today, the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners (BOC) approved to roll forward the approved water and sewer rates originally scheduled for January 1, 2009. The new schedule is effective October 1, 2008.
The new date will allow the Department of Watershed Management to collect additional revenues needed to cover budget shortfalls caused by the ongoing drought, and associated reduced water usage.
